My Journey (Rijal al Qawiy) : UIA 2

Assalamu'alaikum and hi everyone, back with me again for this semester's journey!       This semester has been a more delightful and fulfilling experience as I navigated through this program. So to begin with, in this second Usrah in Action, my fellow teammates from section 23 and I had the privilege of conducting a leadership mentoring program for the form 1 and form 2 students at SMI Al-Amin Gombak. Initially, for Usrah in Action 2, we were supposed to continue with our previous project, the Nuqaba' project, with students from SBPI Gombak. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, we were unable to proceed with the Rijal Al-Qawiy project with them. This news was a bit of a setback as we had to find an alternative solution. But, Alhamdulillah, thanks to Dr. Saifuddin's relentless efforts, we found a school willing to participate in our program. Hence, we were able to execute this project at SMI Al-Amin Gombak, as I mentioned earlier.      Back to the ...

My Journey (Rijal al Qawiy) : UIA 1

Now, I'll be sharing about my journey in Usrah In Action 1, with my fellow teammate, section 23 in which we've been running a project named Rijal Al-Qawiy under the assistance of our respected lecturer, Dr Saifuddin. Basically, the main objective of our project is to produce the sense of leadership in youth, hence, Dr has suggested doing this project in 2 schools which are SBPI Gombak and Al-Amin Gombak. In these sessions, we want to learn about their feelings about becoming naqib/ah, including whether or not they are prepared, what concerns them, and what issues or problems have arisen during their usrah sessions with previous naqib/ah. Hence, by collecting all ...

Reflection Writing on Sejahtera’s videos

Since the beginning, the speaker has emphasized or underlined the word action in usrah in action itself, indicating that this course is primarily focusing on our action in detail. Furthermore, it can be referred to as ummah in action, where the word ummah signifies that all of our actions, particularly in this course, are for the sake of the ummah. Moreover, this course has enlightened me about the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), which I had previously learned about in UNGS 1201, but unfortunately, I did not fully grasp the concept; however, implementing it in this usrah in action has helped to see and observe the reality of our surroundings. Aside from that, the purpose of this course is to prepare students to tackle challenges in the community, as we must put our ilm into practice. Another thing that mentioned by the speaker is that community service is part of fardh kifayah , and as a student, we should be appreciative of this chance to interact with society and observe and ass...
